·1 min read

Durabook, the rugged mobile solutions brand owned by Twinhead International Corporation, has announced its R12 Rugged Tablet. Powered by an Intel Core Ultra Series 3 CPU, the platform is designed for defense, public safety, and industrial operations, including teams working from vehicles or outdoors with unreliable connectivity.

The tablet offers 180 TOPS of integrated AI performance to process data locally from cameras, sensors, and connected systems. That capability is intended to help field teams analyze information and make decisions on the spot, supporting AI inference, computer vision, and mission-critical software-enabled AI applications.

An optional discrete GPU adds 232 TOPS, bringing combined AI compute to up to 412 TOPS. Durabook positions the scalable configuration as a way to support demanding edge workloads while emphasizing energy efficiency and multitasking capability.
