NVIDIA partners plan manufacturing expansion
NVIDIA has announced plans with a group of supply chain partners to increase global manufacturing capacity as demand grows for its accelerated computing and full-stack AI factory platform. The effort involves both new and existing suppliers, with planned expansions covering critical manufacturing capabilities used to support NVIDIA’s infrastructure offerings. The initiative is intended to strengthen the resilience and redundancy of the company’s global supply chain while addressing rising demand.
Participating companies include Amkor Technology, IBIDEN, King Yuan Electronics (KYEC), Samsung Electro-Mechanics, Siliconware Precision Industries (SPIL) and Unimicron Technology Corporation. Their work spans substrates, advanced packaging, testing and optical engines. Together, these areas define the scope of the manufacturing expansion NVIDIA is enabling across its supplier network to support the buildout of AI infrastructure.
