NVIDIA expands local agents across Spark and DGX systems
NVIDIA announced hardware and software updates at GTC Berlin spanning personal agents, developer tools and enterprise workloads. RTX Spark runs personal agents on Windows PCs, DGX Spark supports Linux development, and DGX Station targets larger teams. Underdog Desktop Agent is now available for RTX Spark, running models entirely on device without sending user data off the PC.
DGX Spark 64GB systems begin rolling out through partners on Friday, Oct. 23. Developers can manually configure clusters of up to eight units, providing 1TB of unified memory for larger models and concurrent agents. NVIDIA Sync Model Launcher, due later this month, will automate model and container downloads and connect models to OpenCode. The October software update also adds Wi-Fi Assistant and maintenance guidance.
DGX Station gains enterprise management integrations, while a Windows version is expected in December with support for manufacturing applications and on-premises agents. NVIDIA also released open source robotics workflows. NVIDIA Cloud Functions is coming in early access to Linux-based systems, allowing teams to share local model endpoints through an OpenAI-compatible interface.
Recursive Superintelligence released Recursive Flint, an open-weights coding model with 40-billion-parameter mixture-of-experts architecture and 2.5 billion active parameters. Specialized kernels increased its generation speed on RTX Spark by 55% without changing model weights. NVIDIA also announced support for additional models, memory-efficient checkpoints and inference improvements for llama.cpp and vLLM.
