NVIDIA partners expand city services and infrastructure tools
NVIDIA and its partners are expanding physical and agentic AI deployments for public services, traffic management and infrastructure planning worldwide. Shared computing and managed services let city departments and neighboring municipalities build applications without each acquiring dedicated resources, while retaining local control over sensitive data. Depending on the workload, an RTX workstation or small GPU system can support initial services.
In Spain, 1MillionBot combines ALIA, NVIDIA Nemotron and other models for resident-service agents, with 150+ deployments handling municipal procedures, appointments and service inquiries. In Wrocław, Poland, K2K is building shared infrastructure to analyze existing camera streams for mobility, safety and event response. Malaysia’s ITMAX is scaling vision agents to support 17,000+ cameras by 2027. Its integration of the TeraSim traffic simulation platform helps test signal timing, reducing peak-hour corridor travel times by up to 26%.
Digital twins are also supporting industrial operations and urban design. At Nigeria’s Dangote Lekki refinery, Honeywell’s Nemotron-powered agents analyze operational data, with an Omniverse-based digital twin planned for simulation and training. In Taiwan, Linker Vision and MVRDV are using Omniverse and Nemotron to assess urban-planning scenarios, simulating 15-year outcomes for an urban forest canopy in 10 minutes. At Morocco’s Tanger Med port, Cires Technologies is expanding a sovereign AI factory for planned safety, congestion, cargo-routing and operational applications.
