Kioxia launches PCIe 6.0 enterprise SSDs for AI workloads

·1 min read

Kioxia has introduced the KIOXIA CM10 Series, its first PCIe 6.0 enterprise SSD line. The drives use the company’s latest BiCS FLASH generation 10 TLC flash memory and are designed for demanding enterprise and AI workloads, including AI inference and context caching.

The CM10 Series supports the NVIDIA CMX architecture and adds direct-cold-plate liquid cooling capability, giving data center operators more flexibility for cooling deployments in next-generation AI infrastructure. Kioxia says the drives deliver up to approx. 92 % higher sequential read performance and up to approx. 85 % higher random read performance compared with the previous generation, improving throughput for data-intensive AI inference and enterprise applications while supporting better overall system efficiency.
