Innodisk launches GMSL2 camera kit for edge vision

·1 min read

Innodisk has introduced the Innodisk GMSL2 Camera Starter Kit, bundling four 3MP GMSL2 camera modules, a capture card, FAKRA cables and other necessary accessories. The package combines pre-integrated hardware with a software driver so customers can set up a multi-camera system and begin validation out of the box.

The kit targets integration challenges as edge AI vision systems in robotics and intelligent vehicles increasingly use multiple cameras. Bringing cameras, capture cards, drivers and host platforms together can take six months or more before validation. Innodisk says the package is designed to shorten the path from proof of concept to deployment and help system integrators bring products to market faster. Full camera source code is included, giving customers flexibility during development and ongoing maintenance.
