Micron and Anthropic team up on AI infrastructure

·1 min read

Micron Technology and Anthropic have announced a strategic agreement aimed at aligning frontier AI model requirements with the infrastructure needed to support them at scale. The partnership covers memory and storage AI architecture design, supply and demand planning, and deployment priorities for next-generation AI systems.

Micron will also adopt Claude across the company as part of the agreement and make a strategic investment in Anthropic’s Series H funding round. Sumit Sadana, Micron’s executive vice president and chief business officer, said the AI shift has elevated the role of memory and storage from data centers to edge environments, and framed the collaboration as a way to combine both companies’ strengths in building AI infrastructure.
