Lenovo posts record Q1 revenue as AI sales climb
Lenovo reported first quarter results for fiscal year 2026/27, describing the period as the strongest quarter in the Group’s history and its highest quarterly revenue growth in the past five years. Overall Group revenue rose 43% year-on-year, while all business groups delivered record first-fiscal-quarter revenue and operating profit. Adjusted net income increased 176% year-on-year, supported by higher scale and efficiency gains, and R&D expenses rose 30% year-on-year.
AI-related revenue grew 60% year-on-year and accounted for 35% of total Group revenue in Q1, reflecting Lenovo’s push to turn its Hybrid AI strategy into commercial performance across PCs, smart devices, solutions and infrastructure. The Infrastructure Solutions Group was highlighted as a major driver of growth and profitability.
Lenovo also provided AI solutions and services for the FIFA World Cup 2026 as FIFA’s Official Technology Partner. The deployment covered three countries, 16 cities, 48 teams, and 104 matches, supporting FIFA operations, global broadcasts, team analysis, officiating technology and fan experiences.
