iCOMPASS launches KY-AI for bank governance in Hong Kong

·1 min read

iCOMPASS introduced KY-AI™ at Hong Kong FinTech Week 2026 to help financial institutions oversee their use of AI. The launch follows the Hong Kong Monetary Authority’s introduction of its ART Framework on 15 October, which focuses on accountability, operational resilience and trust as systems become more autonomous.

Built around a Know-Approve-Test-Watch lifecycle, the product is designed to identify AI systems, including third-party tools, assess risks and potential impacts, assign ownership and document approvals. Ongoing monitoring is intended to track material changes, detect emerging risks and support intervention, replacing isolated assessments with continuous, evidence-based oversight.

The launch extends iCOMPASS’s approach to traceable customer-risk decisions into AI governance, emphasizing documented decisions and clear accountability. CEO Raymond Moh said financial institutions need to understand what each system does, its risks, who is responsible and when intervention is necessary.

Separately, iCOMPASS is collaborating with Cambridge Advisers Hong Kong under a Memorandum of Understanding to provide digital compliance training through UltraLearn™. Cambridge Advisers supplies regulatory content, while iCOMPASS provides an AI-powered platform for assessments, training records, reminders and CPT tracking. Courses cover AML, cybersecurity, data protection and professional conduct.
