Anthropic files for Nasdaq IPO under ANT ticker
Anthropic submitted an S-1 to the SEC on October 26, seeking to list on the Nasdaq under the ticker ANT. The filing leaves the offering’s price range and share count unspecified. Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley lead the underwriters, and trading is reportedly targeted for the week of November 16.
Revenue increased in the first half of 2026 compared with a year earlier. Anthropic reported a net loss that included a non-cash charge tied to changes in the value of convertible notes and similar instruments. Its operating loss was smaller than its net loss, and the company disclosed holdings of cash and short-term investments.
Anthropic has also made substantial computing commitments with Google and Amazon, alongside a separate agreement for AMD Instinct MI450 GPUs. The company warned that costs are expected to keep rising and that it may not achieve or sustain profitability. OpenAI, meanwhile, says it does not expect to go public until next year.
