Rewst sees workflow creation surge with natural-language tools
Rewst’s redesigned automation platform lets managed service providers build workflows through natural-language prompts, with early usage suggesting that automation creation has become easier. About 110 MSPs, representing roughly 10% of its partner base, used an early access edition before general availability. During a 30-day period, that group collectively created an average of 150 new workflows per day, compared with about 75 automations per day across all remaining partners. The results do not establish whether people without automation expertise are now building workflows.
About 80% of early access automations were built directly inside ChatGPT, Claude, or another LLM through Rewst’s MCP server rather than its traditional interface. Rewst is responding by shifting development resources from its web interface toward its AI interface. CEO Aharon Chernin says partners appear to be asking agents to create automations without specifying Rewst, leaving the agents to choose the platform. That makes ease of use for agents an increasingly important product consideration.
The platform supports both deterministic workflows and more flexible AI-driven automation, depending on users’ instructions. Chernin expects deterministic processes to remain necessary, particularly for compliance tasks where organizations must demonstrate defined procedures to auditors.
