Arkestro expands European footprint as procurement demand grows

·1 min read

Arkestro announced plans at DPW Amsterdam 2026 to expand in Europe, citing rising demand across EMEA for its predictive procurement platform. The company said nearly $300 million in European spend has moved through the platform, while EU spend grew 93% year over year. Baseline spend represented in international procurement events grew 330% from 2024 to 2025 and is projected to grow another 47% in 2026 as global customers extend use into more European teams, categories and supplier networks.

Usage is also broadening inside customer organizations. European platform users have grown 78% year over year, and buyer-supplier interactions now span 34 countries. Arkestro said completed European events have produced approximately 10% average savings, with customers using predictive procurement and AI to make faster decisions, strengthen supplier engagement and manage volatility.

BMI Group, a European roofing and waterproofing manufacturer, is using Arkestro to standardize procurement workstreams while keeping category teams in control. Group Category Manager Antonio De Sousa said the platform provides a single source of truth, reduces spreadsheet-based negotiation work, improves market transparency and uses automated quote analysis and feedback to shorten timelines.
