Morphic turns uploaded clips into chat-based video reports
Morphic’s AI video analyzer lets users upload a clip into a chat and ask questions about what happens in the footage. It reads the video and audio directly, then returns a written report covering the sequence of events, people or objects on screen, setting, camera details, speech, and on-screen text. Users can keep asking follow-up questions about the same clip without uploading it again.
The tool is aimed at creative workflows, including summarizing unseen footage, checking generated clips for visual defects, breaking down ads, and comparing generated shots for continuity drift. It can flag issues such as warped hands, morphing faces, flicker, abrupt cuts, changed clothing details, altered lighting, or shifted camera position.
Time markers are approximate rather than frame accurate, and the tool is designed for clips rather than feature-length recordings. It can quote spoken lines when relevant but is not a full transcription service; Morphic points users to its video-to-text transcription option for full timed records. Supported formats include MP4, MOV, WebM, AVI, and MPEG, with free accounts providing credits to start.
