WPS AI aims to make workplace summaries more specific

WPS AI is designed to address a common weakness in AI-generated year-end summaries: polished but generic writing that lacks data, project context and clear evidence of results. Kingsoft Office embeds the system across WPS Writer, Spreadsheet, Presentation and PDF, while Lingxi Professional Edition acts as an agent that can connect documents, data and workflows instead of relying only on short prompts.

The toolset supports drafting, revision, tone adjustment, data analysis, chart generation and presentation creation. In Writer, AI functions can expand, shorten, rewrite and polish weak passages. In Spreadsheet, users can ask questions in natural language, summarize data and generate charts, while AI PPT can convert outlines or documents into editable slide decks aligned with the underlying conclusions.

Lingxi Professional Edition adds cross-document memory for scattered project materials. Lingxi Professional Edition can upload up to 50 files at a time across 8 extensions, including PDF, DOCX, XLSX, PPTX, TXT, PNG, JPG and JPEG. In an example workflow, it reads an annual operation data set and 12 monthly project summaries, extracts “core conversion rate increased by 25%” and “abnormal response time shortened by 40%”, then sends those findings into Writer and AI PPT.

For enterprise users, WPS 365 combines WPS Office, WPS AI Enterprise Edition and a collaboration suite that can connect with OA, CRM and ERP systems through OpenAPI, JSAPI and callback mechanisms. The product also emphasizes manual review, permission controls, member accounts and cloud compliance checks to reduce risks around factual errors, sensitive files and official reporting.
