RTX 5090 prices top €5,000 in Germany

·1 min read

GeForce RTX 5090 prices in Germany have pushed past €5,000, with the lowest listed model on Geizhals priced at €5,242.94 for the INNO3D iCHILL Frostbite Pro. Hardwareluxx reported that no RTX 5090 is currently listed below €5,200 in the German market, while several mainstream models are moving toward €5,500.

The same card was available for around €3,029 in January, marking roughly a 73% increase in eight months. NVIDIA’s Founders Edition RTX 5090 remains priced at €2,099 when available, leaving custom cards at more than double the official Founders Edition price.

Pricing pressure is not limited to Germany, and NVIDIA has not publicly addressed the situation in either Germany or the US. The company has instead used event-based promotions, including at PAX West, to offer occasional MSRP units. Rising GDDR7 memory costs linked to AI demand appear to be the main driver, with board partners passing those costs on to buyers.
