NVIDIA unveils Jetson Orin Nano 2 for edge robotics
NVIDIA has introduced Jetson Orin Nano 2, a robotics computer designed to bring generative AI performance to entry-level edge AI systems. The company said the platform is intended to put advanced AI capabilities in the hands of millions of developers working on physical machines and autonomous devices.
The launch is aimed at a shift toward smaller, more efficient AI models that can run on edge devices. NVIDIA described potential uses including robots, delivery and inspection drones, and vision AI systems that can understand context, interpret language and images, and act in real time. The system is positioned as a compact, energy-efficient computer for developers building machines that need AI processing at the edge.
