CXMT reaches 10% of global DRAM revenue share
Chinese memory maker CXMT captured 10% of global DRAM market share by revenue in Q2 2026, according to Counterpoint Research trackers. The result was 150% higher than its position a year earlier and reflected quarterly growth of 25%, with share rising from 8% in Q1 to 10% in Q2.
The gain stands out because CXMT has constrained access to advanced tooling, unlike established DRAM suppliers such as Samsung, SK hynix, and Micron. Samsung remained the market leader with a 38% share, followed by SK hynix at 25% and Micron at 24%.
Recent shifts show Samsung maintaining and expanding its top position, while SK hynix fell from 39% a year ago to 25%. Micron moved between 22% and 24%, and Nanya doubled its share from 1% to 2%.
