Blockbrain expands EU-hosted model lineup

·1 min read

Blockbrain has added GPT 6.1 Terra with EU hosting through OpenAI and Azure AI. Built for visual reasoning, document processing and on-screen automation, it offers a 1M token context window. Standard API pricing is 50% lower than GPT 5.6 Terra and GPT 6.1 Sol. At maximum reasoning effort, it solves 50.3% of coding tasks on Terminal-Bench 4.0.

Other additions include GPT 6.1 Sol (Ultrafast), which delivers token generation speeds up to 8× faster in Codex than the standard version. Mistral Large 4 brings an open-weight multimodal option trained entirely in Europe, targeting software engineering, vulnerability research and complex visual analysis. Gemini 4 Argon supports sustained reasoning for long-running engineering, research and cybersecurity workflows.

Claude Haiku 5.5 is available through AWS Bedrock and Google AI with EU hosting, adding adjustable reasoning effort for latency-sensitive workloads. Qwen 3.8 27B offers an EU-hosted open-weight vision-language option through STACKIT AI. The expanded selection also includes Claude Opus 5.5 and Claude Sonnet 5.5 for demanding professional tasks, alongside image-generation models focused on editing precision and faster production.

Anthropic will also introduce an EU AI Act text watermark from September 30, 2026, for designated Claude models. The statistical pattern adds no characters or tokens, contains no user or organization data, and requires no customer action.
