AMD joins the trillion-dollar club

·1 min read

AMD crossed one trillion US dollars in market capitalization, placing it as the world’s 16th most valuable company by market capitalization. The milestone puts AMD alongside companies including Broadcom, Tesla, NVIDIA and Apple in the trillion-dollar club, after its value rose nearly 10% from Friday’s close.

The rally is being driven by confidence in AMD’s product roadmap across data center and client markets. Customers are buying millions of EPYC server CPUs, including the 2 nm ‘Venice’ generation, while Instinct MI accelerators are gaining traction for AI training and inference. AMD is also selling ‘Helios’ rack-scale systems expected to support gigawatts of compute across data centers, adding to broader optimism around the business.
