Pocket FM launches Sherpa for fiction writing

Pocket FM has launched Sherpa, a fiction writing AI designed to support the full creative process rather than operate as a single model responding to prompts. The system brings together specialized models and agents for ideation, research, story planning, writing, evaluation and long-term narrative memory.

Sherpa is built around a living understanding of the story world that develops as a project progresses. That structure is intended to help the system reason across characters, settings, conflicts, relationships and events, instead of treating each episode as a separate block of text. Pocket FM said the next breakthrough in generative AI for entertainment will not simply come from models that write better sentences.
