PUBG adds Nvidia Ace teammate mode with RTX requirements

PUBG: Battlegrounds is bringing NVIDIA Ace into the game through Ally Duo, a time-limited arcade mode announced for PUBG: Battlegrounds update 42.1. The mode pairs players with an AI-powered companion on the Sanhok jungle map, adding a teammate designed to respond to natural-language voice commands during play.

The companion, Ella, can provide in-game information and advice, search for resources and vehicles, deliver vehicles, spot and engage enemies, and help coordinate strategic attacks. The feature is currently in beta and will be available in PUBG: Battlegrounds from June 17 to July 1.

Ally Duo has strict hardware requirements because AI processing depends on an NVIDIA RTX GPU. The minimum specification lists the RTX 2080 Ti and RTX 3060 8 GB cards with 16 GB of system memory, while the recommended setup is an RTX 4070 paired with 24 GB of system RAM. Players also need hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling enabled.
