ASUS announces TUF Gaming BE9400 wi-fi 7 router

ASUS introduced the TUF Gaming BE9400, a high-performance wi-fi 7 tri-band router designed to deliver up to 9400 Mbps aggregate throughput. The hardware includes three 2.5G LAN ports and one 2.5G WAN port, support for ultrawide 320 MHz channels and 4096-QAM modulation. ASUS positions the BE9400 to provide stable coverage across approximately 2,500 square feet, targeting high-speed gaming, 4K streaming and smart home environments.

The BE9400 integrates Multi-Link Operation, or MLO, which enables simultaneous or alternating use of the 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz and 6 GHz bands to improve connection stability and minimize latency across devices. Gaming-focused features include a dedicated gaming port, Mobile Game Mode and OpenNAT to optimize traffic and reduce lag. ASUS also notes wi-fi 7-enhanced mesh support to extend network reach while maintaining the router´s tri-band performance and MLO benefits.

For network management and security, the BE9400 offers Smart Home Master subnetworks, preinstalled VPN options and Artificial Intelligence Protection-powered security to help protect connected devices.
