Vicarius adds ScriptAI to vRx for vulnerability remediation

·1 min read

Vicarius has released ScriptAI, a proprietary generative AI engine built into its vRx platform to create and validate vulnerability detection and remediation scripts. The company says the tool can generate and validate scripts in under an hour, aiming to reduce exposure while official patches are delayed, unavailable, or considered too risky to deploy.

ScriptAI is designed as an agentic remediation pipeline that moves from exposure discovery to script development, human validation by the Vicarius research team, and automated execution and verification in vRx. Generated scripts enter the vScript library only after human review, creating a control point before deployment in production environments.

Vicarius says ScriptAI uses a deterministic pass/fail judge with no language model in the decision path, cryptographically signed evidence manifests, and a required sequence of precheck, apply, verify, and rollback. Scripts run natively as OS-level Bash and PowerShell without additional agents, SIEM dependencies, or proprietary rule formats. ScriptAI joins Vicarius’ broader True Remediation strategy alongside vPatch, vShield, and vScript, and is available immediately to customers within vRx.
