Supermicro ships NVIDIA Vera Rubin NVL72 racks

Super Micro Computer, Inc. (NASDAQ: SMCI) is now shipping NVIDIA Vera Rubin NVL72 racks integrated with its Data Center Building Block Solutions and direct liquid cooling stack, known as DLC-2. The company describes itself as an AI, Enterprise, Storage, and 5G/Edge IT Total Solution Provider.

President and CEO Charles Liang said Supermicro has spent years building its liquid-cooling stack, manufacturing capacity and deployment teams for the launch. Customers can order a Scalable Unit and receive production-ready systems with end-to-end integration, with Supermicro designing and building each layer between the cold plate and the cooling tower. Liang said the company’s DLC-2 technology differentiates its offering for the NVIDIA Vera Rubin platform.
