SK Group and NVIDIA expand AI infrastructure partnership

SK Group and NVIDIA announced plans for a comprehensive partnership focused on AI infrastructure and next-generation memory, with letters of intent signed to formalize work spanning AI factory construction and AI memory supply. The collaboration builds on a long-running technology relationship between the companies as demand for global compute continues to rise.

The plans include SK Telecom’s recently announced 2-gigawatt-scale AI Cloud in Korea, which will use the NVIDIA DSX platform and deploy NVIDIA Vera Rubin accelerated computing powered by SK hynix HBM4. The first AI factory is planned to come online in 2027, using NVIDIA’s DSX full-stack AI factory architecture that combines accelerated computing, systems, software and partner technologies. SK Group and NVIDIA aim to develop large-scale infrastructure for sovereign, physical, agentic and enterprise AI services across Asia-Pacific, including South Korea.
