NVIDIA showcases Southeast Asia AI deployments in Singapore

NVIDIA AI Day Singapore runs Sept. 22-23 at the Raffles City Convention Centre, with hands-on training, expert-led sessions and tools focused on AI and high-performance computing. NVIDIA and its partners are positioning AI as a national strategy priority across Southeast Asia, emphasizing production deployments, trusted local capabilities and support for governments, developers, researchers and businesses.

Public-sector and enterprise projects include Singapore’s HTX researching NVIDIA Nemotron 3 Super and Nemotron 3 Nano Omni for public safety, NCS using Nemotron models and NVIDIA Blueprint for video search and summarization, and ST Engineering applying NVIDIA NeMo and NVIDIA cuOpt in its AI Studio platform. Malaysia’s YTL AI Labs, Viettel AI, Thailand’s Big Data Institute and iApp Technology, Brunei’s Antrique, ITMAX and AS-TECH are also using NVIDIA tools for citizen services, legal applications, food-sector productivity, traffic operations and airport passenger flow. Thanoy, iApp Technology’s legal-assistant chatbot, already serves approximately 43,000 users.

Regional AI model efforts are expanding through AI Singapore’s SEA-LION family, Hummingbird Bioscience’s toxicity knowledge graph, Bitdeer AI’s Open Models AI Codefest, Viettel AI’s Vietnamese-language work and FPT Smart Cloud’s Nemotron-Personas-Vietnam dataset. Sea Limited also became the first enterprise in the ASEAN region to adopt NVIDIA Vera Rubin, aiming to scale AI across Garena, Monee and Shopee.
