MSI Unveils EdgeXpert MS-C931 DGX Spark Box and Meteor Lake-Powered AIO Desktop at Computex 2025

·1 min read

At Computex 2025, MSI introduced the EdgeXpert MS-C931, a compact personal supercomputer tailored for Artificial Intelligence workloads. Designed around NVIDIA´s DGX Spark platform, the MS-C931 leverages the advanced ´Grace Blackwell´ GB10 superchip. This integration brings together a high-performance CPU-GPU architecture linked by NVLink-C2C for cache coherency, allowing the system to function as a unified processing powerhouse. The device also features 128 GB of unified LPDDR5X memory, ensuring ample bandwidth for demanding computations, and supports ultra-fast 200 Gbps InfiniBand networking, making it suitable for high-throughput data scenarios and local model training without depending on external cloud services.

The MS-C931 delivers up to 1,000 TOPS (trillions of operations per second) of compute performance, which MSI positions as ideal for developers focused on Artificial Intelligence-native code. With its NUC-sized form factor, the device is engineered for both on-premises development and decentralized deployment, reflecting growing industry demand for powerful yet manageable edge computing solutions. This move signals MSI´s intent to make supercomputer-grade Artificial Intelligence capabilities more accessible to researchers, engineers, and enterprises looking to avoid the latency and costs associated with cloud-based compute.

MSI also revealed the Modern AM273QP AI, an all-in-one desktop powered by the latest Intel Core Ultra ´Meteor Lake´ processors. This system is equipped with a 27-inch 1440p display, catering to modern workspace and home-office needs. Standout features include Thunderbolt 4 connectivity for high-speed peripherals, and a hot-swap M.2 NVMe SSD bay, which offers straightforward upgrades and storage maintenance. This announcement demonstrates MSI´s continued commitment to integrating new Artificial Intelligence-focused hardware and connectivity into mainstream computing products, broadening the spectrum of options for both advanced users and professionals.
