Check Point details governance controls for enterprise AI agents

·1 min read

Check Point’s AI Governance & Access Control is aimed at helping enterprises define and enforce rules for how AI systems are used across the organization. The company frames the need around AI agents and applications that increasingly interpret instructions, use context, invoke tools and carry out actions with limited human involvement.

The offering focuses on approved AI models and applications, access to enterprise data, tool and API permissions, and action-level guardrails for agents. Check Point says governance must account for sensitive data moving through prompts, files, outputs and agent actions, where traditional controls may not understand conversational intent or agent behavior.

Check Point positions real-time, context-aware enforcement as central to reducing policy violations, data exposure and operational risk without blocking productive AI use. Related capabilities include Workforce AI Security for employee usage and AI Agent Security for governing application and agent permissions, tool access, API usage and controlled execution.
