AMD posts record quarter as data center sales surge

·1 min read

AMD reported record revenue for the third quarter of 2026, exceeding the high end of its guidance as Data Center segment sales nearly doubled year-over-year. Gross margin was 54%, while non-GAAP gross margin reached 56%.

Chair and CEO Lisa Su said demand for the company’s Instinct and EPYC products continued to strengthen. AMD expects growth to accelerate further in the fourth quarter as it scales production of Helios and Venice, making those production ramps central to its near-term outlook.

Su expressed confidence that AMD can sustain very strong revenue growth and expand profitability over the coming years. She pointed to the company’s product portfolio, customer relationships and supply chain relationships as foundations for that outlook, alongside the continued strengthening of demand for its products.
