AMD brings FSR Upscaling 4.1 to older Radeon cards

·1 min read

AMD has released Adrenalin 26.10.1 WHQL graphics drivers, extending FSR Upscaling 4.1 support to Radeon RX 6000 series graphics cards and several Ryzen AI processor families. The supported Radeon cards date back to 2020 and use the RDNA 2 graphics architecture.

The upscaling update also reaches Ryzen AI Max ‘Strix Halo’ and ‘Gorgon Halo’ APUs, alongside Ryzen AI 9 ‘Strix Point’ and ‘Gorgon Point’ mobile processors. The release follows AMD’s announcement of plans to bring the technology to older Radeon GPUs, APUs and Xbox.

The drivers add support for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, STAR WARS: Galactic Racer and FINAL FANTASY RESONANCE. AMD also fixed a stuttering issue affecting Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 on Radeon RX 6000 series graphics products and newer models. Several known issues remain unresolved.
