NVIDIA plans new investments in French startups
NVIDIA announced planned investments in Doctolib, Entalpic, Genesis AI and Pigment, extending its backing of France’s startup ecosystem after earlier investments in Alice&Bob, Gradium and Scintil Photonics. The companies target healthcare agents, atomic-scale materials engineering, general-purpose robotics and enterprise planning software.
French organizations are also expanding sovereign AI infrastructure on NVIDIA technology. Bull is extending European AI server production to NVIDIA Vera Rubin Ultra NVL72 systems, planned for 2028, while LINAGORA and Docaposte secured the CANUT framework agreement, making Twake.ai the sole referenced sovereign digital workplace for more than 2,500 French public organizations. SBS is launching a sovereign platform for banks in collaboration with NVIDIA, and Mistral introduced Mistral Large 4 under private preview.
Industry deployments span beauty, ecommerce, public services, telecom and quantum computing. L’Oréal is integrating NVIDIA ALCHEMI into research workflows, with computational predictions and laboratory testing able to make discovery up to 100x faster. Mirakl has onboarded more than 70 million products and cut seller catalog onboarding to under two hours, while ThinkDeep and Akila manage nearly 5,800 kilometers of roads and buildings in Côte-d’Or, cutting total operating costs by 10% and targeting 30% as deployment progresses.
