Frore Systems adds diamond spreader to LiquidJet coldplate
Frore Systems announced LiquidJet Diamond, a liquid cooling coldplate for AI factories that uses an integrated diamond spreader to improve GPU cooling. The company said rising demand for AI Tokens and constraints on energy supply are pushing hyperscalers to improve AI factory efficiency, with LiquidJet Diamond Coldplate boosting AI Tokens/Watt and revenue by 35% compared to traditional skived coldplates.
LiquidJet Diamond builds on the company’s LiquidJet coldplate, which uses a 3D ultra short-loop multi-stage design customized to each GPU power map, including extreme hotspots. Frore Systems said LiquidJet delivers 12°C reduction in GPU die temperature, translating to 25% higher tokens/watt efficiency. The Diamond version adds integrated diamond wafers to the coldplate bottom at hotspot locations, delivering an additional 10 °C reduction in hotspot die temperature and increasing Tokens/Watt gains to 35%.
