0G launches Veyra to verify video authenticity

0G Labs has unveiled Veyra, a video verification tool that uses frame-level AI analysis to assess whether footage is real, AI-generated, or potentially harmful. The system is designed to address deepfake concerns by pairing content analysis with blockchain-based proof that can be independently checked.

Veyra runs across the 0G technology stack. 0G Compute performs the AI analysis, 0G Storage keeps the video files and evidence reports, and 0G Chain records cryptographic proof hashes. After reviewing individual frames for artifacts such as inconsistencies in lighting, texture, or motion, Veyra classifies content by authenticity and safety before storing an evidence report and anchoring a tamper-evident hash on-chain.

The tool was developed by PlayArts, a company operating under Holo Studio, with support from NVIDIA Inception and Google Cloud for Startups. 0G Labs launched its Aristotle mainnet in late September 2025 and highlighted the Veyra integration on August 28 as an example of verifiable AI workloads enabled by its infrastructure.
