Reggy launches platform for Europe’s compliance workload

·1 min read

Reggy, an Oslo-based compliance software company formerly known as Fortifai, has publicly launched a multi-framework platform designed to help mid-sized and enterprise companies manage regulatory obligations from one shared system of record. The company says the platform converts requirements across areas including security, privacy, anti-bribery, health and safety, ESG and AI governance into assigned tasks, evidence and audit trails.

The launch comes as European companies contend with the phased rollout of the EU AI Act alongside GDPR, NIS2, DORA and other frameworks. The EU AI Act has been in force since last year; national regulators gain new enforcement powers over general-purpose AI transparency this August, with high-risk rules following in 2027. Reggy points to growing pressure on compliance teams, citing record regulatory enforcement fines of $19.3 billion in 2024, 64% of CEOs describing regulation as the number-one barrier to reinvention, and 72% of executives saying compliance complexity has hurt profitability.

Reggy has been operating in beta since 2024 with customers including Telenor, Aker BioMarine, Ardoq and Mainstream Renewable Power. Founded in 2023 and backed by Startuplab, RunwayFBU and Impact Shakers, the company is focusing first on Europe in a governance, risk and compliance software market projected to grow by $44.2 billion between 2025 and 2029 at 14.2% a year.
