European Commission launches Your Europe AI search tool

The European Commission has launched the Your Europe AI search platform to help citizens and businesses living, working or operating across the EU find reliable administrative information more quickly. The tool is intended to reduce barriers in the EU Single Market by making official guidance easier to access through a simple search interface.

Launched in August 2026, the platform lets users ask questions in any EU language and receive clear, concise answers based exclusively on official sources. Its responses draw on Your Europe content and information from nearly 60,000 national public administration sources, with direct links to relevant source material so users can verify the information without guesswork.

The tool remains in beta, but the Commission says it already shows how AI can improve public services and reduce administrative burdens. Kerstin Jorna, Director General at the European Commission, said the platform has an answer rate of over 90%, significantly outperforming the previous guided search.
