Commission issues AI Act transparency guidance
The European Commission published guidelines to help providers and deployers of certain AI systems comply with transparency obligations under the AI Act. The guidance is intended to support organizations that must meet the law’s requirements for informing users and other affected parties about covered AI systems.
The transparency obligations start to apply on 2 August 2026. The publication gives providers and deployers a reference point as they prepare for compliance with the AI Act’s rules for specific AI systems.
