NVIDIA BioNeMo tools come to Claude Science

Anthropic has introduced Claude Science, an AI workbench that lets scientists use natural language to run research workflows from intent through execution. The platform integrates NVIDIA BioNeMo Agent Toolkit, giving Claude Science access to NVIDIA-accelerated models, libraries and NIM microservices within the same environment where researchers analyze data and refine experiments.

BioNeMo Agent Toolkit packages scientific capabilities as callable skills, allowing agents to choose tools, prepare valid inputs and execute workflows on NVIDIA compute resources deployed anywhere. Supported workflows span genomics, proteomics, single-cell analysis, cheminformatics and clinical research, with access to models such as Evo 2, Boltz-2 and OpenFold3.

NVIDIA says 18 of the top 20 pharmaceutical companies use BioNeMo for AI-enabled work across drug discovery, genomics, medical imaging, molecular design and protein engineering. The toolkit includes NVIDIA Parabricks for genomic analysis from hours to minutes, RAPIDS-singlecell for compressing a 1.3-million-cell preprocessing and clustering workflow from 52 minutes to 25 seconds, and nvMolKit for cheminformatics acceleration by up to 3,000x.

BioNeMo Agent Toolkit is open and harness-agnostic, with skills available through NVIDIA developer resources and GitHub. Claude Science is entering public beta, with Anthropic seeking researcher feedback on additional domain specialists and integrations.
