Qualcomm details Dragonfly data center roadmap

·1 min read

Qualcomm Technologies introduced a broader data center portfolio at its Investor Day, outlining new platforms designed for AI infrastructure. The lineup includes the Qualcomm Dragonfly C1000 CPU, Qualcomm High Bandwidth Compute (HBC), the Qualcomm Dragonfly AI300 inference accelerator, connectivity products and custom silicon solutions.

The company positioned the Dragonfly portfolio as a full-stack infrastructure play for agentic and data-center-class workloads, with an emphasis on performance per watt, token throughput and lower total cost of ownership. The Qualcomm Dragonfly AI300 expands a roadmap that already includes the Qualcomm Dragonfly AI200 and AI250, with Qualcomm describing an annual cadence for AI accelerators.

Qualcomm CEO Cristiano Amon said agentic AI is increasing demand for inference in the data center and requires infrastructure that delivers higher performance at lower power and cost. He said Qualcomm is bringing its high-performance, low-power computing approach into the market through multi-year, multi-generation agreements with leading customers.
