Arm says it has passed 50% share in hyperscale cloud market
SoftBank-backed chip designer Arm says its architecture now accounts for more than 50% of the hyperscale cloud computing market, marking a milestone in its long-running competition with Intel and AMD.
AI demand is reshaping data center purchasing and helping drive adoption of Arm-based designs among major cloud operators. The company is also moving into physical chips as it seeks a larger role in the infrastructure behind AI workloads.
