OneXplayer introduces Super X gaming tablet powered by AMD Strix Halo
OneXplayer has unveiled the Super X, a premium 14-inch gaming tablet that aims squarely at compact PC gaming and content creation on the go. The chassis is machined from aluminium into a 12.5 mm-thick unibody, with an integrated kick-stand and a detachable keyboard plus trackpad cover that converts the tablet into a laptop-like workstation. OneXplayer positions the Super X as a direct competitor to devices such as the ASUS ROG Flow Z13.
At the heart of the Super X is AMD´s Ryzen Artificial Intelligence Max+ 395 system-on-chip, which combines a 16-core, 32-thread CPU based on the ´Zen 5´ microarchitecture with a maxed-out RDNA 3.5 integrated graphics subsystem. That iGPU features 40 compute units for a total of 2,560 stream processors, delivering substantially higher integrated graphics throughput than previous generations. OneXplayer also highlights a 50 TOPS neural processing unit for local copilot acceleration, enabling on-device machine learning tasks and low-latency assistant features without sending data to the cloud.
Memory and display choices are oriented toward demanding workflows. Configurations can scale up to 128 GB of 256-bit LPDDR5x memory, which should benefit heavy multitasking and memory-bound applications. The Super X uses an AMOLED touchscreen with a 2.8K resolution, listed at 2880 by 1920 pixels, providing high contrast and vivid colors for games and media. Power delivery is handled through a 120 W input, which suggests the device is designed to sustain peak performance for extended periods when plugged in.
OneXplayer´s announcement focuses on hardware and design; the company has not yet confirmed pricing or availability for the Super X.
